Delicious. 6 stars for chef !!! 6 stars for operation !!! Everything great. Thank you very much
Very friendly staff. I ordered rump steak Medium plus and it came out exactly like that. Really to the point. Food was delicious. And the value for money is above average.
Very friendly service, good food, nice atmosphere ... highly recommended
Top location, very delicious food, friendly service
A single catastrophe: two meals ordered, one was a salad made from a card with yogurt sauce ... there was a vinegar / oil sauce and I drowned the completely wrong food with pasta in oil. Statement boss ... did not check and totally stressed, so stressed they were, the six of them !!! stood in front of the inn, never again ...
Dear Local !!!
Super local. Delicious food, very clean !!! Good choice
Actually 6 stars for the cook! Mega delicious Greek cuisine. The rump steak, with pepper sauce, buttery soft and excellent in taste. Rarely eaten so delicious. We will definitely come back. Price-performance ratio is right.
- Location and location: The restaurant (formerly Gasthaus "Hasen") is practically at the main traffic junction Sulgen, where it branches off to Hardt / Schwenningen, Rottweil and Oberndorf / Freudenstadt. The road is very busy and there is traffic until late. Directly afterwards there is a "assisted living" retirement home and to the left of it the business hotel. In the inner courtyard there is space for 3 (THREE) vehicles for guests of the restaurant, the rest and the underground car park belong to the hotel. - The restaurant: The substance is old, but modernized and renovated inside. The many load-bearing wooden elements give the restaurant a certain charm. In the front area there is space for approx. 60-80 guests, in the rear area, which can be separated, another approx. 50-60. It is currently a Greek restaurant called "Olive"; before that, the "Hasen" was a restaurant with good middle-class German cuisine. - The food: In my case, the evening started with a Greek starter of small flatbread on topped goat cheese (feta) and with paprika. Attention, even at Entrée there is enough garlic in the food, which runs like a "red thread" through the evening and its courses. As an intermediate course there was a mixed salad, dressed with vinegar oil and also with enough garlic, albeit fine, or added to the salad as an oil. Unfortunately, the first good impression was not what was hidden behind the really beautiful design of the dishes. Wilted "lumpy" lettuce leaves amidst white cabbage and iceberg lettuce, which reminded me a lot of the vegetable and salad filling of a doner kebab. There was no salt or pepper, but - as mentioned above - there was enough garlic on it. The main course was gyros, with wavy fries and a small "bowl" of tzaziki (enough garlic in it too). My gyros was very dry, the meat itself is certainly very good, but without fat it loses its juiciness and, unfortunately, its flavor. The fries were ok, but simply a TiKo convenience product. I would have loved to have had more of the tzaziki, because it was the only thing that was supple and helped to make the other two components slide in the throat. After a while the dessert was served in a champagne glass. At the bottom in the bottom part an - estimated - shortcrust biscuit, over it a cappuccino or coffee cream and over it vanilla pudding with a small nut and brittle on top as a conclusion. First of all, I have to say, it was visually very nice, the taste from top to bottom, and consistently sweet as a card. The vanilla pudding - also a convenience product (with a strong flavor reminiscent of Dr. Oethker), grainy and containing very little vanilla, but sweet as sugar. The cappuccino or coffee cream, the same product, just a different flavor, you can still guess that an extra shot of mocha may have been added to the mass, but it turned out to be the same, but here too: sugar in abundance. Finally, you come across this round ball of biscuits, which I couldn't exactly define which dough it was made of. I guess it was some kind of shortcrust pastry. But even this was not made by the company itself, but was purchased ready-made. Summary for dessert: pure sugar shock! - The service: Well, what began very well in the evening with good service was a thing of the past after the starter. Instead of the lady from the service making a note of WHAT you ordered for drinks at which table, everything was "memorized" that led to the fiasco at the latest when the drinks were served. On the one hand, drinks never came to the table, on the other hand, the wrong ones. For example, I ordered red-sweet spritzer three times, the first time, at the beginning of the evening, I got that too, the second was red and sour and the third was pure red wine. X times the lady came to the table with too many drinks of one kind, or with nothing that was ordered. Around 10 p.m. and later, the service was also sluggish. - Conclusion: First impression good, but not recommended for the second.
For a brief overview: we were there with about 9 people for dinner in the evening, the review reflects only my experience and what I have snapped up from my colleagues. I can not say anything about the rooms. positive: - stylish decor and nicely decorated - Appetizer salad and fries were great - fast intake of drinks and food negative: - long wait until the appetizer salad came (only 3 other guests in the restaurant) - The floor of the ladies room was sticky - at the main course (Gyros with me and three other people) the plates were not preheated and therefore the food unfortunately after a short time cold - in four people the rice was still very firm (possibly a matter of taste) - Gyrosfleisch with me quite fat and cartilaginous All in all, for me no further visit worth, but I hope for the restaurant, that they "only" had a bad day.
Local, good food and super friendly service. Can you recommend in good conscience
Food was delicious and sufficient .. gladly again
Good rooms, very good food and friendly staff in a family atmosphere
Great food, great atmosphere, 1 A service and everything at fair prices. This guesthouse and restaurant is highly recommended and I will gladly come back as often as possible
We were very warmly welcomed. A cozy atmosphere and delicious food !! The fries are rarely exactly right anywhere, but here they are :)
Very good food and excellent service!! 100% recommended
The food is delicious! And the service is very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back!
a little quiet and few guests. The service not so attentive but the food was great.
Great restaurant great team, good food😊😊
Very good. The staff is really kind!
Hmm ... the chicken is the place where it is delicious ... It is not so kind and friendly because it is in the countryside, but it does not open until late time ...
Thank you for a first class meal - the steak was perfectly fried and barely achievable. And we probably ate the best chicken ever. Crunchy and juicy but not greasy. Big cinema! It took a while - but everyone was very friendly.
Business travel. Very nice hotel, recently renovated, very clean, very nice food, free wi-fi, close to the bank, very close to the supermarket.
